Testicular Sperm Aspiration or extraction is a surgical sperm harvesting technique used to retrieve sperm in patients with obstructive azoospermia. Testicular Sperm Aspiration is the easiest way to retrieve sperms through this method. Our team of specialised gynecologists performs the procedure with precaution and precision under local anesthesia and our culture lab processes the samples with our high end testing machines. Our centre is equipped with latest machineries that makes these crucial procedures easy and minimally painful and invasive.
At Lifescope, we have the best medical facilities, trusted doctors and cooperative staff that relentlessly strives to keep you hale and hearty.
IVF is our major segment and we take pride in being Khandesh’s first full fledged IVF centre. Why us?
There are two ways in which this procedure can be performed: Diagnostic and therapeutic. Under the diagnostic method, biopsies are performed to check whether sperms are being produced in the testes or not. In case of absence of sperms, the diagnosis of a total testicular failure is confirmed and treatment options are accordingly chalked out. In most such cases, treatment options include either adoption or donor insemination as no other viable option is available. In case sperms are found, the testicular system can be cryopreserved for future treatment. The procedure is less expensive but in several cases, patient is required to repeat the test if they are willing to use their sperms for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). In therapeutic method, which is most of the times recommended by the doctors, sperms which are found can be immediately used for ICSI.
